I know everyone is getting excited about dining out again now but then, sometimes for the safety of the family, it might still be a good idea to hang on for a while and get your delicious family feast from Iconic Hotel Penang delivered to your home (you can also do a pick-up like I did).
Iconic Hotel Penang recently launched their family feast for 4 persons at only RM 80 per set where you have the choice of a Western Set, Chinese Set and Asian Set and I chose the Western Set which comes with a host of delicious items such as Minestrone Soup, Garlic Cheese Bread, Grilled Chicken Tortilla Wrap, Tuna Spaghetti Aglio Olio, Scottish Beef Sausage Stew, Baked Fish with Lemon Garlic Cream and a Chocolate Choux Au Craquelin.
The food were great, most of the time if I am here in Penang and chooses a hotel to dine in (or out) .. Western will be what I choose. I loved their Scottish Beef Sausage Stew where the combination of the juicy sausages chunks and the the flavorful stew were a match made in heaven while the Baked Butter Fish with Lemon Garlic Cream were baked well and the cream sauces compliments the fish so well. My dad loves the grilled chicken tortilla wrap while my mom loves the minestrone soup. The pasta was good too and I was just too full to enjoy the chocolate dessert.
Their portions were meant for 4 (probably more if you are not a big eater). I shared this feast with my parents and we could not finish it.
I might go and try their Asian Set next which looks equally delicious to me with their Soto Ayam, Nasi Minyak Hujan Panas, Kari Kambing Berkentang, Ayam Masak Hitam Daun Kari, Dalca Telur Sayur, Sotong Goreng Tepung and Kuih Ketayap Inti Kelapa Durian.
