After two years of not having the Ramadan Iftar Buffet, Hilton Petaling Jaya brings back the Kembalinya Ramadan theme buffet dinner with more than 150 signature Malaysian favorites, Central Asian specialties and Wester favorites with a twist. This buffet is part of the Hilton’s nationwide “Jelajah Selera Bersama Hilton” campaign inspired by Malaysia’s unique cultural tapestry and culinary heritage and this years’ theme calls for diners to explore the iconic flavors of Malaysia and beyond.

Some of the premium dishes that was served at the buffet that I enjoyed while dining there includes the Tulang Rusuk Pendek Rebus Panggang, Kambing Golek “Tandoori” with Nasi Briyani, Ayam Belanda Panggang (a very rare find during Ramadan), Kaki Kambing Bakar, Daging Tulang Rusuk Mata Panggang, Lamb Shank Briyani, Itik Bakar Ranggup, Seafood Thermidor, Daging Rusuk Panggang with Air Asam and the Daging Batang Pinang dibakar dengan Pastry Ranggup. These are definitely some of the rare items that one does not often see on a ramadan buffet … its a unique and interesting twist of using premium meat to prepare in a traditional menu.
Paya Serai, an iconic outlet of the hotel, will feature a variety of its signature dishes and more than 10 action stalls that promises a holistic dining experience, a feast for the senses. The focus is definitely on locally sourced ingredients, premium quality meat and seafood as well as authentic taste that’s highly satisfying to the palate.
The buffet menus are also kept on a weekly rotation to give diners a fresh experience every time. The Kembalinya Ramadan buffet at Paya Serai begins on 2 April – 2 May 2022, from 6:30pm – 10:00pm. It is priced at RM198 nett per adult and RM98 nett per child (aged 5 – 11).
