Usually when I first visit a new destination, I will ask people around, “what is the best hotel to stay here?” and the reply I usually get in Hatyai is Buri Sriphu Boutique Hotel and finally after about two years of frequent visit to this lovely city, I finally decide to check into this much celebrated boutique hotel.
The 5-star rated Buri Sriphu Boutique Hotel has 90 rooms but a very large function and meeting facilities, making it a popular venue for grand weddings in Hatyai as well as meetings and conventions.
We check into our 28 sqm Superior Room in the Old Wing and the earth-toned Lanna-contemporary inspired room gives it a very simple luxury. Room is spacious, with a large king-size bed, a small coffee table with two comfortable wooden chair, LED TV, a work-desk and a mini-bar. Rooms also comes with complimentary WIFI and is fast.
The bathroom comes with a separate shower stall as well as a bathtub (only the old wing Superior room has the bathtub).
The buffet breakfast comes with ample selection of Asian and Western items with a cook-to-order egg station.
Hotel location is convenient – walking distance to places like Central Festival, Diana Shopping Center, ASEAN Night Market, Greenway Night Market, JT Market. It is about 8 minutes drive to the Lee Garden area.
There is a swimming pool in the hotel (not too many hotels in Hatyai has a pool).
The lobby area is dual volume and spacious and there is a green-house right in the heart of the hotel with various tropical plants.
Parking is ample at this hotel although it can fill up fast if there is a wedding or function.
I would agree Buri Sriphu Boutique Hotel is one of the finer hotel here in Hatyai and definitely one of the Top 5 Hotels to stay if you are in town. Rates for Buri Sriphu Boutique Hotel starts from RM 150.
