Sepang, Malaysia – Round 4 of the 2025 AEON Credit MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) lit up the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit as Azroy Hakeem Anuar of Honda Racing Malaysia sealed his second victory of the weekend—securing the 2025 MSBK1000 A Overall Championship title in emphatic fashion.

The race opened with teammate Muhd Helmi Azman launching into the lead, while Kasma Daniel Kasmayudin (Hong Leong Yamaha Malaysia) and Azroy followed closely behind. The opening laps featured an intense three-way duel before Kasma grabbed the race lead on Lap 3. Meanwhile, Malaysian MotoGP legend Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah began climbing the order, clocking a blistering 2’06.943s—fastest of the early stages.
A tough day for AMI Suzuki Motorsport saw Adam Norrodin exit the race due to technical issues.
By Lap 6, Hafizh continued his charge, cutting into the lead group with yet another fastest lap of 2’06.106s. The pressure at the front forced a reshuffle on Lap 7 when Helmi retook P1 from Kasma, only for Azroy to strike brilliantly at Turn 13—passing Kasma and lining up a move on his teammate.
Just one lap later, Azroy swept past Helmi and never looked back, stretching a commanding pace all the way to the chequered flag.
Azroy finished with a time of 21’14.808s, completing his double victory for Round 4. Helmi crossed the line in second place at 21’15.163s, while Kasma secured third with 21’17.747s.
With this triumph, Azroy Hakeem Anuar officially becomes the 2025 MSBK1000 A Overall Champion, collecting a season total of 179 points. Kasma secured second in the championship with 162 points, and Helmi completed the overall podium with 92 points.
Following his title-clinching win, Azroy said:
“Alhamdulillah, thank God, it has been a great season overall. I’ve been consistently at the front. There were a few times I dropped back due to technical issues, but otherwise, I’ve finished on the podium every race. Coming into today, I knew everyone would go all out to end the season strong. With three laps to go, I told myself: it’s time to attack. I had excellent pace this round. Thank you to my team for giving me the opportunity to compete on this stage, as this is also part of my preparation for the ARRC. Thank you to everyone for the support!”
Azroy’s performance closes the season with a champion’s statement—speed, strategy, and total control.
