Sepang – A thrilling showdown unfolded at Round 2, Race 2 of the Malaysia Touring Cars Championship (MTC), where Brandon Ho Chun Chuan and Nikhil Bohra stormed to victory in the Malaysia Touring Category, sealing a commanding performance for Superpower Lub by Papaya in their Honda FK7.
Malaysia Touring Category
In a race filled with tactical precision and consistent pace, Car No. 3, piloted by the dynamic duo of Ho and Bohra, crossed the finish line ahead of the pack, withstanding heavy pressure from competitors throughout the race. The win reinforces the team’s championship aspirations, with Superpower Lub by Papaya proving once again why they are a formidable force on the grid.

Finishing in second place was Car No. 100, driven by the ever-reliable Daim Hishammudin and Aaron Hakim Mohamad Haikal, representing HiRev Dream Chaser in their Honda City. Rounding off the podium was Car No. 39 of Lai Wee Seng and Leon Khoo Beng Koon, delivering another solid outing for R-Engineering in their Honda CR-Z ZF1.
Touring Production
In the Touring Production class, it was Wong Yew Choong in Car No. 21 who stole the spotlight with a lights-to-flag victory for Modern Racing Team in his potent Honda FK8. His consistent lap times and aggressive start made him uncatchable from early on.

Jonathan Xie of OPM Lite x Skuber Race Team fought valiantly in his Volkswagen GTI to claim second, showcasing impressive racecraft. Third went to Daniel Chanee Walker of Blackwolf by BAE, also in a Honda FK8, capping a fiercely competitive class battle.
Touring Production 2
The Touring Production 2 category saw a podium sweep for Honda FD2R machines, with Chiow Teck Song in Car No. 11 leading a double podium for R-Engineering. Jesmond Tan Yong How, also from R-Engineering, finished second in Car No. 444, while Privateer driver Baron Sim Kwong Teck secured third in Car No. 46.
This race further highlighted the strength and depth of R-Engineering’s preparation and pace across multiple categories, marking a successful weekend for the team.
