Bangkok Airways has announced that it is cancelling all its flight in and out of Koh Samui today to safeguard the safety of its passengers as Tropical Storm Pabuk moves in-land.
Tropical Storm Pabuk is expected to hit many towns along the Gulf of Siam with strong winds of up to 90km/h and heavy rain fall.
Witchawut Jinto, Governor of Surat Thani adviced local residents and tourists are advised to be caution in facing this phenomenal storm and instructed marine officers in the district to closely monitor all boats, including speed-boats and ferries in the district from Thursday until Saturday.

All national park and attractions must be ready to be closed immediately if the condition warrant as flash flood might occur in the district. According to the Meteorological Service, Pabuk is expected to pass through Chumphon and Surat Thani tonight (Friday).
Heavy rain and high waves are expected in Koh Samui and Koh Phangan until Saturday.
