Sea-cret Garden Resort ~ a hidden jewel in Hua Hin

Just a short drive off the main road from the town of Hua Hin lies an amazing resort called Sea-cret Garden Resort. Sea-cret Garden Resorts consists of only villas – either a 100 sqm 2-bedroom private pool villa or 84 sqm deluxe pool-access villa. There are 16 of the 2-bedroom private pool villa and 42 units of the deluxe pool-access villa and we checked into the deluxe pool-access villa which was amazingly spacious, clean and neat.

Firstly, locating hotel might be a little tough especially if you arrive at night as the resort is about 10 km from the city and is another 500m or so off one of the road and luckily for us, we saw the sign to the hotel on our way to the Huay Mongkol Shrine, so it was not too difficult to find on our way back to check in.

Check in is fast and simple – and then we are taken by a buggy to our villa ~ luckily we are not too far from the lobby and car park that later we decided to walk. The moment you opened the door to your villa, you’re in awe. The villa is so spacious, and in soft pastel pink and white ~ so comforting. The first thing you come into is the pantry, and small dining area, and then the vanity and closet.

Then u come into the bedroom, which has a large plush bed with a lovely day bed on the side of a large window, a large LED TV and complimentary WIFI. The bedroom opens out to the patio and the swimming pool.

In the villa, I would say the bathroom is the highlight, spacious and the all white with wood accent ID of the bathroom makes is really cozy. There is a standing shower on one end and on the other end facing the swimming pool is a step-up wooden deck with a sunken soaking tub overlooking the pool (if you open the blinds).

Out on the patio are a couple of lounge chairs if you decide to stay dry but yet want some sun or you also have the option of going up to the roof top for some tanning and chill session (for us Asians, I think only night time).

The fun part of The Sea-Cret Garden in Hua Hin is the pool which is flanked by the villas. The pool looks connected but is actually separated up into a few pool connected with a small walking path, thus each pool is actually shared out with 7 or 8 villas. It was not too crowded when we were there and we pretty much have the whole pool to ourselves.

We pretty much spent the whole afternoon at the pool, relaxing and enjoying our last evening at Hua Hin till dinner when we head into town again for some nice Italian at The Roma Pizzeria by Eddy.

Breakfast was nice at the Jinn and Juice Restaurant next to the main lobby which is just a short walk from our villa, ample selection of local and western. They also have a cook to order egg station and a Thai noodle station.

After our sumptuous breakfast, we only realized the reason why the place is called Sea-Cret Garden as the resort highlight feature is not only the large beautiful swimming pool but also a lovely garden placed in between the rows of villas.

It was definitely a nice place to stroll and burn off some of the breakfast calories but it was like 10 plus am and it was getting hot, but they do have chill area like this gazebo.

I would strongly recommend the Sea-Cret Garden Hua Hin for romantic weekend get-aways or even family and friends. The resort is very instagrammable and have plenty of places to take beautiful photos. For those who would like to bring a model out for a photoshoot session, this is an ideal resort. Service is good and as well as the breakfast. Only comment I have is the location of this place which is a little off from town and places to eat but it gives you in return tranquility and serenity of being away from people, thus plan to just enjoy your time here at the resort.

Room rates starts from about 2,000 baht per night and I would say it is a steal for this price.
