Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – AniManGaki 2025 wrapped up on a high note after three days of vibrant festivities, drawing thousands of anime, comics, and games (ACG) fans to the MINES International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) from 22 to 24 August 2025.

This year’s edition carried the theme “Street”, celebrating grassroots creativity, street culture, and the diversity of the ACG world. The event featured cosplay showcases, art markets, indie games, panels, live music, and community-driven programs, cementing AniManGaki’s reputation as one of Malaysia’s biggest ACG conventions.
“We were incredibly excited to welcome everyone back to AniManGaki this year,” said Yvonne Sing, Director of AniManGaki. “Each year we’re amazed by the passion of our community, and 2025 was one of our most exciting events yet.”
A Star-Studded Lineup
Fans were treated to a stellar roster of international guests and performers:

- CHOUCHO, the Japanese singer behind anime favorites like Heaven’s Memo Pad and Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya, opened the concert series on Day 1.
- BRADIO, Japan’s funk rock sensation, brought infectious energy on Day 2 with hits including Flyers from Death Parade.
- Aya Hirano, the iconic voice of Haruhi Suzumiya, closed out the final night with a highly anticipated performance.
- Lucius J. Merryweather, creator of Merryweather Media, delighted fans with insights into his VTuber lore work and WEBTOON series such as Clinic of Horrors and Winter Moon.
- MIT Photography, the acclaimed Japanese artist and photographer, showcased evocative portrait and cosplay works while engaging with fans through panels and meet-and-greets.
- Studio Orange, the 3DCG studio behind Beastars and Trigun Stampede, gave audiences a closer look at their creative process.



Community and Creativity on Display
In addition to headline acts, AniManGaki 2025 featured:
- Cosplay appearances from international and local guests
- The AniManGaki Idol and Battle of the Bands competitions
- A bustling Doujin & Artist Alley with over 200 creators
- Gaming tournaments and console free-play zones
- Exclusive merchandise booths, cultural showcases, and fan-driven workshops
Each evening closed with concerts that filled the main hall with excitement, as fans sang along, cheered, and celebrated their love of ACG culture.
AniManGaki 2025 once again proved why it stands as Malaysia’s premier fan-driven ACG convention, combining international star power with the creativity of its passionate community.
