KUALA LUMPUR – As the engines roar at the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2025, the party will be just as electrifying off the track. For the first time ever, Malaysia will host HardTech — a revolutionary fusion of Hardmission and Techmission — alongside the globally renowned Transmission festival.
Taking place on 18 and 19 October 2025 at the Helipad of the PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, the two-day spectacle marks the official pre-party of the Grand Prix weekend. Organised by Hi:Five Entertainment, this unprecedented collaboration will unite motorsport fans and music lovers in one of the most high-energy weekends the country has ever seen.

A Groundbreaking Festival Debut
HardTech (Hardmission & Techmission) is set to make its long-awaited Malaysian debut, promising to redefine the rave experience through the fusion of hardstyle, technology, and visual art. Known for its futuristic themes and pounding rhythms, HardTech is celebrated globally for pushing boundaries and transforming spaces into immersive, high-intensity worlds of sound and light.
Meanwhile, Transmission – one of the most iconic trance music brands from Europe – will bring its signature grand-scale production to Malaysian shores for the very first time. With cinematic themes, world-class DJs, and stunning laser shows, Transmission’s arrival heralds a new era for trance in Southeast Asia, rekindling the magic that first defined the genre’s golden age.

A Line-Up to Shake the Helipad
Across two nights, festivalgoers can expect a full-force sonic journey featuring international heavyweights including Markus Schulz, Aly & Fila, Ben Nicky, Sub Zero Project, Warface, Driftmoon, Daxson, and Tweekacore, alongside Malaysia’s own stars such as Bass Agents, Chukies & Whackboi, Alexis Grace, Boris Fong, and Mister Ariffin.
HardTech takes over on 18 October, followed by Transmission’s takeover on 19 October — each night delivering a distinct experience, from the raw intensity of hardstyle to the euphoric transcendence of trance.
Safety, Style and Celebration
In alignment with the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS)’s newly introduced safety protocols for electronic dance events, the organisers will implement comprehensive safety and wellness measures. These include hydration stations, on-site medical teams, anti-drug awareness messaging, and even drug detection canine units — all to ensure a safe and responsible festival environment.
Festivalgoers are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the rave with creative yet comfortable attire — shorts, joggers, tank tops, sneakers, and LED accessories are welcomed, while offensive prints, topless outfits, or full-face masks are strictly prohibited.
The Ultimate Fusion of Sound, Speed, and Culture
Hi:Five Entertainment’s collaboration with the PETRONAS Grand Prix of Malaysia 2025 represents a new milestone in Malaysia’s live entertainment scene — a celebration of rhythm and adrenaline that merges motorsport culture with world-class electronic music.

“Our goal is to create an experience that transcends boundaries,” said a Hi:Five Entertainment spokesperson. “This isn’t just a festival — it’s a statement that Malaysia is ready to be on the global map of dance music culture.”
With an expected attendance of 15,000 ravers and a venue set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most exciting MotoGP races, HardTech and Transmission are poised to deliver the ultimate high-octane weekend.
