FIM Asia Road Racing Championship Unveils Six‑Round 2026 Calendar

KUALA LUMPUR — The FIM Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) today announced its official calendar for the 2026 season, which will run across six rounds beginning in April and visit circuits across Asia.

The organisers said the six‑round schedule continues ARRC’s mission to showcase high‑level motorcycle racing to diverse regional audiences while nurturing emerging talent. The season will also include a number of regulatory changes aimed at promoting fairness and raising competitive standards.

“ARRC has always aspired to expand its footprint and strengthen its visibility among Asian communities,” said Ron Hogg, Promotions Director of Two Wheels Motor Racing. “Season 2025 reaffirmed that our collective efforts through partnerships, rider development and fan engagement bore indefinite fruits of success. We are proud of the progress made and are grateful to our partners, sponsors, teams and riders for their unwavering support.”

Hogg added that the 2026 adjustments represent a “strategic recalibration of regulations, designed to ensure a level playing field for all riders while simultaneously advancing the standards and benchmarks of excellence across the championship.”

FIM Asia President Stephan Carapiet reflected on the challenges and achievements of the previous season and expressed confidence in the path ahead. “Season 2025 was not without its challenges, yet it became another defining chapter in the journey of the ARRC,” he said. “Organising a championship of this scale is never simple but the unwavering contribution, cooperation and commitment of the ARRC community has always made the task lighter and the outcome greater.”

Carapiet said lessons from last year will guide preparations for 2026 as the series returns to familiar venues with renewed focus on talent development and competitive growth.

The organisers did not release full dates or circuit names in today’s announcement; further details on race venues, entry lists and the revised regulations are expected in the coming weeks.
