Sepang – The Malaysia Championship Series (MCS) is set to reach new heights with its highly anticipated Round 3, taking place at the iconic PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit (PETRONAS SIC), this Friday to Sunday, 9 – 11 August 2024. This round is expected to be the highlight of the season, with action-packed, back-to-back races, and potentially the highest record turnout of participants, teams, and racing enthusiasts from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, China, Japan, and Hong Kong.

Organised and promoted by PETRONAS SIC, this Championship will showcase the highest participation of 78 cars on the grid, competing across four classes battle, Malaysia Touring Car (M Production) modified cars up to 1600cc, Touring Production (T Production) for turbo production cars with maximum 2000cc, Stock Production 1 (SP1) for naturally aspirated cars up to 2000cc, and Stock Production 2 (SP2) for cars under 1600cc.
In addition, the event will showcase the largest and remarkable total of 183 cars throughout MCS, including support races such as the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA), Thailand Super Series (TSS), Toyota Vios Challenge, and Asia Classic Car Challenge (ACCC)/Caterham.
For fans looking to enjoy the live races, free entry is available to the Main Grandstand. For a more immersive experience, paddock entry tickets can be purchased for RM100, offering an up-close view of the action and exclusive behind-the-scenes access.
The mall area will be vibrant with the “Semarak Merdeka” event, organized by Jabatan Muzium Malaysia in conjunction with MCS and Merdeka month. This event will feature a diverse mix of music, entertainment, food stalls, automotive displays and family-friendly activities that fans will not want to miss.
