Good news for motorcyclist who uses the Penang Bridge (first and second) as the Finance Minister Mr Lim Guan Eng has just announced its removal for toll starting from January 1, 2019.
Under the 2019 Budget, Mr Lim also said that motorcycle toll from the Malaysia-Singapore Second Link will also be abolished starting January 1, 2019.
The removal of the toll will cost the government RM 20 million a year.
Mr Lim also announce that the government will be freezing toll hikes on all highways in the cities next year, a cost of RM 700 million to the government.
For those using the public transport, a no-limit monthly pass will be introduced at RM 100 to encourage usage of all RapidKL bus and rail services.
