If you are looking for a nice clean modern hotel which is easily accessible to most of the attractions in Krabi town, look no further. The 64-rooms Krabi Seabass Hotel is located within walking distance to the five main attractions in Krabi town ~ the Mud Crabs Sculpture, the weekend Night Market, Wat Kaew, Andaman Art Museum and the Chaofah Park.
The three-star Krabi Seabass Hotel is beautifully decorated with Hamptons theme – white and blue mainly throughout the hotel and rooms. The hotel carries a nice facade with ample parking and is easy to find. The staff are attentive, speaks good English (and at least one of the Malay too) and are happy to assist whenever possible.
The Krabi Seabass Hotel consists of two buildings separated by a swimming pool. The main building host the lobby which is not too big but nicely decorated for comfort. From the lobby, you are linked to the Blue Fin Cafe and Bistro which serves European and Thai food, as well as a wide array of international cocktails and drinks. Daily buffet breakfast are also served here. The main building also has rooms on 5 floors – their superior rooms as well as their corner suite rooms with pool views. The second building has their massage room as well as 4 exclusive duplex pool access room as well as the superior rooms.
We checked into the Duplex Pool Access Room as well as the Corner Suite Room with Pool View during our recent stay at Krabi Seabass Hotel.
The 31sqm duplex pool access room which has the lower floor as the living area with sofa and a flat screen TV that opens up directly to the swimming pool.
When you stepped up to the upper floor, you will find an inviting king size bed, a small work-space and the bathroom. The shower stall for this duplex room is separated from the WC by the mirror and basin. The wall to ceiling windows brings in a lot of natural light to the room which is nicely wallpaper and also carries the Nautica design.
The 25sqm Corner Suite Room with Pool View is spacious, with a comfortable king size bed in the middle of the room, with a two seater sofa overlooking the pool. There is a balcony for this corner suite and a sizable bathroom with full amenities.
There are lots of windows in the room, making it very nice and bright in the daytime. There is the floor to ceiling sliding door that opens up to the balcony overlooking the swimming pool as well as the large window right in front of the work space, making the room very fresh and energetic.
Daily European / Thai buffet breakfast is found at the Blue Fin Cafe and Bistro and the selections are good for a 3-star hotel.
Overall, I would say this is a very nice hotel located strategically in the heart of Krabi town. You can easily access all the must-see places and after a day of exploration, you can return back to you relaxing room for a good night rest. It is a value for money stay if you are looking for a place away from the busy AoNang and wanted to explore the lovely Krabi town.
