JETOUR Advances “Travel+” Vision, Integrating Technology, Adventure and Sustainability

Global Technology Experience Day showcases intelligent mobility, versatile SUVs and environmental conservation

KUALA LUMPUR – JETOUR is continuing to expand its “Travel+” ecosystem, combining automotive technology, versatile vehicle capabilities and lifestyle experiences to redefine how people explore the world.

Moving beyond the traditional role of vehicles as a means of transportation, the brand envisions them as travel companions and “mobile third spaces” that connect people with nature, culture and new experiences.

This vision was showcased at the 2026 JETOUR Global Technology Experience Day, held from 20 to 23 October across Wuhu in Anhui Province and Moganshan in Zhejiang Province, China. Under the theme “Future Travel Starts Now,” the programme brought together technology demonstrations, on-road driving experiences, outdoor activities and ecological conservation initiatives.

Intelligent Technology for Diverse Driving Conditions

Technology remains central to JETOUR’s approach to future mobility, with the brand drawing on expertise in artificial intelligence, intelligent driving systems, smart cabins and AiMOGA Robotics to develop practical applications for real-world travel.

Among its key technologies is the XWD Fully Automatic Intelligent 4WD system, featuring 7+X one-touch intelligent driving modes designed to help vehicles navigate a range of challenging conditions, including mountain roads, gravel surfaces, water crossings and steep slopes.

Complementing the system is the GAIA All-Terrain Intelligent Architecture, which provides a technical foundation for adapting to different terrains and driving scenarios. JETOUR’s C-DM hybrid technology also aims to balance performance and energy efficiency, supporting longer journeys and more versatile travel experiences.

On 21 October, vehicles equipped with these technologies participated in mountain-road test drives and off-road activities in Moganshan, giving participants an opportunity to experience their capabilities across varied terrain.

A Vehicle for Every Kind of Journey

JETOUR’s expanding product portfolio reflects the changing expectations of modern travellers, from everyday urban mobility to more adventurous outdoor pursuits.

The G700 combines premium comfort with serious off-road capability, while the T1 and T2 are positioned to accommodate daily driving and light off-road exploration.

Beyond the vehicles themselves, lifestyle accessories such as roof tents, onboard refrigerators and panoramic sunroofs extend their functionality for outdoor recreation and extended stays in nature.

The Technology Experience Day also featured a camping market and a Starry Night Forum, demonstrating how vehicle technology, outdoor living and social interaction can form part of a more integrated travel experience.

Travel with a Greater Purpose

JETOUR’s “Travel+” strategy also places emphasis on environmental conservation and community engagement, recognising that travel can create opportunities to understand and protect the natural world.

During the event, participants visited Xiazhu Lake in Zhejiang Province for a crested ibis conservation initiative. Activities included nest weaving and the release of fish fry, offering hands-on engagement with local ecological protection efforts.

The initiative forms part of JETOUR’s wider conservation activities, which include cheetah conservation in Africa, turtle conservation in Malaysia, harpy eagle conservation in Panama and efforts to protect the markhor, Pakistan’s national animal.

The brand is also expanding its engagement with local communities through partnerships with organisations such as Chilean football club Colo-Colo, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and the Malaysia Marathon.

These initiatives extend the “Travel+” concept beyond mobility, connecting automotive experiences with environmental responsibility, cultural exchange and sporting communities.

Shaping the Future of Travel

Through its combination of intelligent mobility technologies, adaptable vehicle platforms and lifestyle-focused experiences, JETOUR aims to make travel more than simply reaching a destination.

The Global Technology Experience Day brought together urban environments, mountain landscapes and wetland ecosystems to illustrate how technology can support different travel needs while encouraging greater engagement with the surrounding environment.

For JETOUR, the future of travel is not just about going farther. It is about creating more meaningful experiences along the way, with technology, exploration and sustainability working together to shape a more connected travel lifestyle.
