AniManGaki (AMG), one of Malaysia’s annual celebrations of animation, comics, and gaming (ACG) is happening once more at the Mines International Convention Centre (MIECC) has announced JKT48 which the most popular idol group in Indonesia will be returning to AniManGaki 2024. This marks their second visit to AMG.
Established in 2011, JKT48 has been active in Indonesia’s entertainment industry for over a decade. The group has its own Theater in Fx Mall in Jakarta, Indonesia, where they regularly perform captivating shows. Some of their well-known discography includes “Rapsodi”, “Magic Hour” “Heavy Rotation” and more.
With high dedication and enthusiasm, JKT48 continues to bring innovation and excitement to their fans all over Indonesia. JKT48 is strengthening their activities overseas, expanding their presence and connecting with a global audience.
JKT48 will be performing live at AMG2024, promising a performance you wouldn’t want to miss! There will also be cheki session and merchandise sales.
AMG has also announced that the talented manga artist & illustrator, Miwa Shirow as the fourth Special Guest of the event.
Miwa Shirow is a manga artist and illustrator born from the Toyama prefecture, Japan. He made his debut in the year 1999 with “BLACK MIND” in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine.
Boasting a rich range and variety of creations, from his representative works; Dogs: Stray Dogs Howling in the Dark, DOGS/BULLETS&CARNAGE, RWBY, to the titles he created character designs and illustrations for; anime: Joker Game, Kiznaiver, games: 7th Dragon 2020, 7th Dragon 2020-II, 7th Dragon III Code:VFD, Soul Hackers 2, Touken Ranbu, Fate/Grand Order and many more in other mediums.
Miwa Shirow is also a member of the Japanese music unit supercell, where he creates the unit’s illustrations, as well as the logo design, to even the outfit design and more.

AniManGaki 2024 will take place at The Mines International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC) in Malaysia from 23 – 25 August, 2024.
