Good news Penangites! AirAsia has recently announce that it will be launching a new direct flight from Penang to Phuket and Penang to Hanoi starting on July 1, 2018 to bring Penangites closer to the gems of Asean.
Operated exclusively by AirAsia Berhad with flight code AK, these two new flights marks the airline’s 9th and 10th route from the Pearl of the Orient. There will be a 4 times weekly flight for the Penang-Hanoi route while the Penang-Phuket will see daily flights.

In celebrating the new direct routes, all-in-fares from RM79* from Penang to Phuket and RM99* one-way from Penang to Hanoi are available for booking from 4 April 2018 to 15 April 2018 for the travel period between 1 July 2018 and 28 October 2018. AirAsia Flight AK1910 will depart Penang at 8:25pm and land at Phuket at 8:30pm daily while the return flight AK1911 will depart Phuket at 9pm and land in Penang at 11:05pm daily.
Meanwhile AirAsia Flight AK0618 will depart Penang at 6:15am and lands at Hanoi International Airport at 8:20 am while the return flight AK0619 will depart Hanoi at 8:50am and arrives back in Penang at 12:50pm. Flights from Penang to Hanoi are available on Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
