Sepang – Suzuki Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. today marked another major step in its big bike expansion plan with the launch of the all-new Suzuki GSX-8T and GSX-8TT at Booth D02, Sepang International Circuit, held in conjunction with the 2025 MotoGP Malaysia Grand Prix weekend.
The unveiling ceremony was officiated by Mr. Leong Kam Yew, Brand Manager of Suzuki Malaysia, alongside Mr. Ahmad Faez Tan Sri Yahaya, Group Chairman of AFY Mobility Industries Sdn. Bhd., and Dato’ Jeffrey Lim, Group Managing Director of Suzuki Malaysia. The event was also graced by Mr. Ichiro Kondo from Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) Japan, underscoring the strong collaboration between Suzuki Malaysia and its parent company.
Both the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT are powered by Suzuki’s 776cc parallel-twin DOHC engine, built on a new-generation platform engineered for smooth power delivery, excellent control, and everyday usability. The models encapsulate Suzuki’s design philosophy — “Retro Spirit, Next Generation Performance” — blending nostalgic aesthetics with cutting-edge performance.
GSX-8T: A Modern Tribute to the Suzuki Titan
The GSX-8T draws inspiration from the legendary Suzuki T500 “Titan” of the 1960s. Its design combines a retro fuel tank and matte black tail section with a 3D-raised “eight ball” shroud emblem, resulting in a sleek yet classic look.
Technological highlights include Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), Ride-by-Wire throttle, Bi-directional Quick Shifter, and Dual ABS, all designed to provide an ideal balance between performance and comfort.

GSX-8TT: “Timeless” Style Meets Modern Performance
Built on the GSX-8T platform, the GSX-8TT takes inspiration from Suzuki’s iconic 1970s and 1980s road racers such as the GS750 and GS1000. Featuring a distinctive headlight cowl, under-cowl, black front forks, grey seat rails, and classic decals, the GSX-8TT delivers a bold and premium presence.
The “TT” moniker stands for “Timeless”, symbolising Suzuki’s mission to fuse classic design with modern technology. It comes equipped with long-travel suspension, wide handlebars, higher ground clearance, Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) ride modes, traction control, and a 16.5-litre fuel tank, ensuring versatility for both city and long-distance rides.
Commitment to the Malaysian Market
Suzuki Malaysia reaffirmed its commitment to providing motorcycles that combine reliability, performance, and style for Malaysian riders. The launch of the GSX-8T and GSX-8TT highlights Suzuki’s continued dedication to meeting the evolving needs of the middleweight segment while strengthening its partnership with Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan.
Both models are now available for viewing at all Suzuki Big Bike World showrooms nationwide. For more information, visit www.suzuki.com.my
