KUALA LUMPUR — Malaysia’s biggest automotive showcase is preparing for a larger and more ambitious return as the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2026 gears up for its 11th edition with an expanded focus on the future of transportation.
Scheduled to take place from 12 to 21 June 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), KLIMS 2026 returns under the theme “Beyond Mobility”, bringing together automotive manufacturers, technology innovators, policymakers and consumers in a platform designed to showcase the next wave of mobility solutions.
This year’s edition aims to move beyond the boundaries of a traditional motor show, placing stronger emphasis on electrification, smart mobility ecosystems and sustainable transportation solutions while creating a broader lifestyle experience for visitors.
According to the Malaysian Automotive Association (MAA), Malaysia’s automotive sector continues to maintain strong momentum, with the industry recording a Total Industry Volume (TIV) of 820,752 units in 2025, highlighting the resilience of the local market amid rapid technological transformation.

MAA President Mohd Shamsor Mohd Zain noted that advancements in automotive technology, together with government initiatives supporting sustainability and industry growth, are helping accelerate the development of a future-ready mobility landscape.
KLIMS 2026 is expected to welcome more than 200,000 visitors over its ten-day run and will occupy approximately 30,000 square metres of exhibition space across seven halls at MITEC, making it one of the largest editions of the show to date.
Visitors can expect a strong lineup of local and international automotive brands, including Proton, Perodua, Honda, Hyundai, Mazda, Toyota, Nissan, MG Motor, GWM, XPENG, Zeekr, smart, Jetour, Kia and Wuling, among others. The event will also feature concept vehicles, new model launches and emerging mobility technologies.
Beyond vehicle displays, KLIMS 2026 plans to introduce a more immersive and interactive visitor experience. A first for the exhibition is Urban Play, a specially built obstacle course designed to test vehicle capability, precision and control.

The show is also broadening its entertainment offerings through collaborations with lifestyle and creative communities. A partnership with Riuh will bring live performances and cultural experiences during the final weekend, featuring local acts such as FUGŌ, Kyoto Protocol, Adrian Danial and TY:DEL, alongside drumline performances, fusion dance acts and live automotive podcast recordings.
Automotive enthusiasts will also have access to activities including modified car battles, race and flight simulator challenges, remote-control car tracks and test drive opportunities, with more than 60 vehicles available for test drives and participation from over 200 car club vehicles.
KLIMS 2026 continues to be organised by MAA and managed by Qube Integrated Malaysia, with strategic support from MARii and MIDA under the Ministry of Investment, Trade and Industry (MITI).
As Malaysia’s automotive landscape increasingly shifts toward connected, electrified and sustainable transportation solutions, KLIMS 2026 appears set to serve as more than just an industry exhibition — positioning itself as a meeting point where technology, mobility and consumer experiences intersect.
Tickets for the event are now available, with organisers offering various access packages and transportation arrangements to improve accessibility for visitors across the Klang Valley.
