Japanese motorsport-bred aero, tuning and performance products for the GR Yaris, GR Corolla, GR86, Subaru BRZ and Alphard/Vellfire are now available to Malaysian enthusiasts
MAEPS, Serdang — Japanese automotive aftermarket brand GROW Design has officially expanded into Malaysia, with Wing Hin Motorsports Sdn Bhd appointed as its exclusive distributor for the local market.
The partnership introduces GROW Design’s growing portfolio of aerodynamic, tuning and performance products to Malaysian enthusiasts, with applications covering popular performance and premium models including the Toyota GR Yaris, GR Corolla, GR86, Subaru BRZ and Toyota Alphard/Vellfire.
The Malaysian launch was showcased at Tokyo Auto Salon Malaysia, where Wing Hin Motorsports unveiled a fully equipped Toyota GR Corolla Morizo Edition featuring GROW Design components.
The event also marked the global debut of GROW Design’s new tail lamp for the fourth-generation Toyota Alphard, adding a significant highlight to the brand’s arrival in the Malaysian market.
From Japanese Motorsport to the Aftermarket
Founded in 2008 by Japanese racing driver Masahiro Sasaki, GROW Design was built around a combination of motorsport experience, vehicle development and functional design.
Sasaki brings extensive experience from the Japanese racing scene, having competed in SUPER GT and Super Taikyu, while also winning the 2016 86/BRZ Race Series championship.
His involvement extends to Toyota Gazoo Racing and Rookie Racing, while he has contributed to the development of vehicles including the GR Yaris and GR86. He has also worked as a development driver for Bridgestone.
GROW Design initially focused on racing driver development, race car manufacturing and maintenance before expanding into aerodynamic and tuning products in 2024.
That motorsport DNA remains central to the brand’s approach, with GROW Design products designed to enhance a vehicle’s appearance, handling and performance while retaining the character of the original car.
What GROW Design brings to Malaysia
The product portfolio includes:

For the Toyota GR86 and Subaru BRZ, the range includes aero kits, overfenders, spoilers, diffusers, suspension and exhaust systems, as well as performance seats.
The GR Corolla receives carbon-fibre aerodynamic components, front and rear diffusers, side skirts, a rear wing, exhaust and suspension upgrades.
For the GR Yaris, GROW Design offers carbon-fibre and aerodynamic components, overfenders, exhaust systems, intake cooling ducts, performance seats and drivetrain-related upgrades.
The range also extends beyond performance models. The Toyota Alphard and Vellfire receive vehicle-specific aero fender kits and comfort-oriented suspension systems, while dedicated comfort suspension springs are available for the Toyota Crown Sport.
GROW International Takes the Brand Global
The Malaysian launch also marks a wider strategic move for GROW Design.
Wing Hin Motorsports has formed a joint venture with GROW Japan to establish GROW International, which will serve as the sole distributor for GROW Design products worldwide.
GROW International is expected to begin supplying products through Toyota’s official dealership channels in Japan, while discussions are already underway with potential distributors in several international markets.
For Wing Hin Motorsports, the move represents an expansion beyond Malaysia and into the global distribution of specialist Japanese automotive products.
Strengthening Malaysia’s Japanese Aftermarket Scene
As part of the local launch, Wing Hin Motorsports has appointed SC Custom Styling & Autopart Sdn Bhd as an authorised dealer for GROW Design products in Malaysia.
The appointment adds GROW Design to Wing Hin Motorsports’ growing portfolio of specialist automotive brands, which includes Modellista, TRD, Valenti, GR Parts and HAL Springs.
