SERDANG – Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia has expanded its award-winning 400cc Modern Classic range with the introduction of the all-new Tracker 400 and Thruxton 400, giving Malaysian riders two distinct personalities to choose from – a rugged flat-track inspired machine and a timeless café racer.
Unveiled during Art of Speed 2026 at MAEPS Serdang, the latest additions continue Triumph’s strategy of making premium British motorcycling more accessible without compromising on performance, styling or engineering.
At the heart of both motorcycles is an updated version of Triumph’s 398cc TR-Series single-cylinder engine, now producing 42PS at 9,000rpm. The revised powerplant benefits from a higher rev limit and improved top-end performance, delivering a five per cent increase in peak power while maintaining the smooth and engaging character that has made the 400 platform a success globally.
The new Tracker 400 takes inspiration from American flat-track racing, combining minimalist styling with everyday practicality. It features wide handlebars, repositioned footpegs and a dedicated chassis setup that delivers a commanding riding position and sharper handling.
Its distinctive design includes a seat cowl, number boards, box-shaped fuel tank, flyscreen, newly designed wheels and Pirelli MT60 RS tyres, giving the motorcycle an authentic competition-inspired appearance. Buyers can choose from Racing Yellow, Phantom Black and Aluminium Silver Gloss colour options.
Meanwhile, the Thruxton 400 revives one of Triumph’s most iconic nameplates, translating classic café racer styling into a lightweight and approachable package.
The motorcycle features clip-on handlebars, rear-set footpegs and revised suspension settings to create a more focused riding experience. Signature styling cues include the sculpted fuel tank and streamlined fairing that pay homage to the legendary Thruxton lineage while incorporating contemporary finishes.
The Thruxton 400 is available in Phantom Black with Aluminium Silver, Pearl Metallic White with Storm Grey and Metallic Racing Yellow.
Both motorcycles continue Triumph’s premium ownership proposition with class-leading service intervals and a two-year unlimited mileage warranty that also covers Genuine Triumph accessories.
The Triumph Tracker 400 is priced from RM27,900, while the Thruxton 400 starts from RM29,900, excluding registration and insurance.
Both models are expected to arrive at authorised Triumph dealerships nationwide beginning August 2026.
