Royal Enfield Brings the Goan Classic 350 to Malaysia, Channeling the Spirit of Seventies Goan Moto-Culture

Kuala Lumpur – Royal Enfield has officially introduced the all-new Goan Classic 350 to the Malaysian market, bringing with it a motorcycle deeply inspired by the free-spirited and colourful Goan moto-culture of the 1970s and 1980s. Designed as a bobber-inspired expression of individuality and self-discovery, the new model blends retro charm with modern functionality while staying true to the brand’s heritage.

Positioned as a celebration of non-conformity and self-expression, the Goan Classic 350 takes inspiration from the stripped-down custom motorcycles that defined Goa’s motorcycle scene decades ago. Featuring chopped fenders, mid-ape handlebars, a floating single seat and distinctive whitewall tyres mounted on tubeless spoke wheels, the motorcycle captures the essence of classic bobber culture while adding a relaxed, easy-going riding character.

Speaking at the launch, Manoj Gajarlawar said the Goan Classic reflects Royal Enfield’s long-standing philosophy of freedom and individuality, describing it as a motorcycle built not just for transportation, but as a tool for personal expression and discovery.

Meanwhile, Rewi Hamid Bugo highlighted that the Goan Classic 350 represents more than a machine, positioning it as a lifestyle statement centered around freedom, identity and expression.

Powering the Goan Classic is Royal Enfield’s proven 349cc air-oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, delivering 20.2 bhp at 6,100 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. Paired with a 5-speed gearbox, the engine is tuned to provide a smooth and relaxed riding experience suited for both urban environments and long-distance cruising.

Built around a twin downtube spine frame, the motorcycle features telescopic front forks with 41mm suspension and twin rear shock absorbers for balanced comfort and handling. Braking performance is supported by a dual-channel ABS system with a 300mm front disc and 270mm rear disc setup.

Modern features have also been integrated without compromising its classic appeal. Riders will find a gear position indicator, Tripper navigation pod for turn-by-turn guidance, USB Type-C charging, and full LED lighting that includes headlamps, pilot lamps and indicators.

Royal Enfield is also extending the Goan lifestyle beyond motorcycling through a collaboration with Rafu’D, introducing a fashion collection inspired by Goa’s bohemian spirit. Featuring relaxed silhouettes, natural fabrics and vibrant prints, the collection embraces the carefree atmosphere and colourful expression synonymous with the era.

The Goan Classic 350 arrives in four colour variants:

  • Shack Black – RM25,200
  • Purple Haze – RM25,200
  • Trip Teal – RM25,500
  • Rave Red – RM25,500

All variants are offered with an unlimited mileage warranty.
