SEPANG, MALAYSIA — TSS The Super Series by B-Quik delivered a weekend of high-speed drama at PETRONAS Sepang International Circuit, with Singha Motorsport Team Thailand taking victories in both TSS Supercar GT3 races.
Car No. 12, shared by Piti Bhirombhakdi and Kantasak Kusiri, emerged victorious in both Race 5 and Race 6, although neither win came easily.
Race 5 produced a particularly dramatic finish. The No. 7 TEAM NZ GT3 entry crossed the line first after a late charge that saw it overtake B-Quik Absolute Racing’s No. 27 in the closing stages. However, a post-race penalty dropped TEAM NZ to second, handing the victory to the No. 12 Singha Motorsport Team Thailand entry.
B-Quik Absolute Racing’s No. 27, driven by Daniel Bilski and Sathaporn Weerachuea, completed the GT3 podium in third, while Singha’s No. 89 finished fourth.
The GTM and GT4 categories also produced strong performances. PSC MOTORSPORT’s No. 77, driven by Saravut Serithoranakul and Afiq Ikhwan, won the GTM class, while Inging x Autowerks Racing’s No. 95, with Prakun Phornprapha and Todd Kingsford, took GT4 honours.
Race 6 kept the momentum going, with Singha Motorsport Team Thailand again taking the GT3 victory. The No. 12 machine came through a tense final-minute battle to claim another win, ahead of team-mate No. 89 and B-Quik Absolute Racing’s No. 888.
The race began with B-Quik Absolute Racing’s No. 26 on pole, but the GT3 order repeatedly changed throughout the 60-minute contest. A tyre failure for the No. 26 car opened the door for Singha’s No. 89, while the pit window reshuffled the leading order once again.
The final minutes proved decisive. With No. 888 defending the lead and the two Singha entries closing rapidly, No. 89 eventually slipped to third before No. 12 made its move for victory. No. 89 recovered to finish second, with No. 888 completing the podium.
In the supporting categories, PSC MOTORSPORT’s No. 77 once again topped the GTM class, while Inging x Autowerks Racing’s No. 95 repeated its GT4 victory. AAS Motorsport’s No. 91 finished second in GT4, ahead of PETROLIFE RACING TEAM’s No. 77A.
With two GT3 victories from the same driver pairing and consistently strong performances across GTM and GT4, the Sepang round proved to be another showcase of the depth and competitiveness of TSS The Super Series by B-Quik.
