SHAH ALAM – Kawasaki is taking the middleweight adventure experience beyond the showroom with an exclusive Kawasaki KLE500 Megatrail promotion, offering the first 60 eligible customers in Malaysia a chance to experience their new motorcycles on a 150km off-road adventure in Gerik, Perak.
The promotion follows the commencement of Kawasaki’s digital launch campaign for the KLE500 on 3 August, with the motorcycle priced at a recommended retail price of RM32,900, excluding insurance and road tax.
Available nationwide from 3 to 31 August 2026, the promotion is offered through authorised Kawasaki dealerships and is limited to the first 60 eligible customers.
The KLE500 is Kawasaki’s latest entry into Malaysia’s growing middleweight adventure motorcycle segment. Powered by a 451cc parallel-twin engine, the motorcycle is designed to combine everyday usability with long-distance touring and off-road capability.
Key features include long-travel suspension, 21-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels, selectable ABS, rally-inspired styling and an upright riding position. A three-position adjustable windshield and 16-litre fuel tank further enhance its touring credentials.
For the first 60 customers, the ownership experience extends beyond the motorcycle itself through the exclusive Megatrail adventure package.
The package includes a complimentary two-day, one-night Kawasaki Megatrail Fun Ride, a limited-edition KLE500 adventure jersey, an exclusive KLE500 Owner’s Certificate and a limited-edition KLE Adventure saddle bag.
The Megatrail Fun Ride will take place on 26 September 2026 at Dataran Amanjaya Lawin, Gerik, Perak, featuring a 150km off-road route covering forest trails, hills, rocky paths and river crossings.
Participants will be supported throughout the ride with meals, camping facilities, route guidance, motorcycle rescue and support, emergency medical assistance and designated fuelling checkpoints.
Adding another incentive to the adventure, participants will also have the opportunity to win lucky draw prizes worth RM40,000, including a new Kawasaki motorcycle.
MODENAS Chief Executive Officer Roslan Roskan said the KLE500 promotion is intended to give owners the opportunity to experience the motorcycle in the environment for which it was designed.
