GENTING HIGHLANDS – Malaysian motorcycle racing sensation Hakim Danish has been appointed as the official Theme Park Ambassador for Genting SkyWorlds, marking a strategic partnership that celebrates homegrown sporting excellence while setting the stage for the debut of the park’s highly anticipated racing-themed attraction, Mad Ramp Peak – Full Throttle Racing.
The collaboration, formalised through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), is part of Resorts World Genting’s Inspirasi Anak Malaysia initiative, recognising Malaysians who continue to achieve success on the international stage.
The appointment comes during a landmark year for Hakim Danish, who became the first Malaysian in more than a decade to secure both a Moto3 World Championship podium finish and a Grand Prix victory. The Terengganu-born rider previously made history by winning the 2022 Idemitsu Asia Talent Cup, establishing himself as one of Malaysia’s brightest motorsport prospects.
As ambassador, Hakim will work with Genting SkyWorlds on youth engagement initiatives, exclusive fan sessions and community programmes aimed at inspiring the next generation of Malaysian motorsport enthusiasts.
The partnership also complements the upcoming launch of Mad Ramp Peak – Full Throttle Racing, a new immersive attraction designed to deliver the adrenaline and excitement of motorcycle racing through interactive entertainment.
Resorts World Genting Executive Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations Spencer Lee described Hakim as the perfect ambassador, highlighting his determination, ambition and resilience as qualities that resonate with Malaysians.
Beyond celebrating his racing achievements, the collaboration reinforces Genting SkyWorlds’ commitment to promoting Malaysian success stories while offering visitors new experiences inspired by the world of motorsports.
Visitors can also purchase exclusive Hakim Danish collaboration merchandise, while the Genting SkyWorlds Unlimited Pass is currently available at a promotional price of RM188 until August 31, 2026.
