I had a chance to stay at this relatively new serviced residence property of 8 Kia Peng recently and totally fell in love with it. Located on a small hill secluded away from the busyness of the city center yet connected to major shopping malls, offices and convention centers with their on-call buggy service, it was ideal for business or leisure.
I checked into this 1+1 unit for a 3-day 2-night staycation and enjoyed every bit of it. The property has ample complimentary parking bay, easy access and 24/7 security.
The 1+1 unit that I stayed in had an amazing view out to the Petronius Twin Tower, a comfortable living space, a full kitchen completes with cooking hobs, pots and pans, full size refrigerator, microwave, plates and cutlery. The unit also has a washer and dryer for your laundry needs.
The second bedroom is small with a twin bed while the master room comes with a comfortable king-size bed. There master room has an attached bath and a small worktable while there is another shared bathroom for the plus one room.
The kitchen is nicely separated from the living space with a bar top dining table.
The unit is spacious, I would say easily 75 sqm or more and very comfortable for a solo work trip or a leisure trip for couples or small family.
8 Kia Peng is equipped with facilities, a fitness center, a small playground but their facility highlight would be their amazing swimming pool.
The property has two pools, one infinity pool overlooking the Kuala Lumpur skyline and a smaller kids play pool. Plenty of loungers were available and during my stay, I noticed the pool remained relatively quiet.
The property has an all-day dining outlet where breakfast buffets are served. The spread is not huge but sufficient with choices of Asian, Western and Continental. They have cook-to-order eggs and plenty of freshly baked pastries and fresh fruits.
The breakfast nook is located at Level 46 and has a beautiful view out to the skyline of Kuala Lumpur as you enjoy your breakfast. The outlet then serves as a sky lounge for meetings and get together starting from 11am till sundown.
I am very happy with the stay and with promotional rates from just above RM500, I would say this is a steal for such a prestigious address stay.
