Naza Italia has officially launched the Ferrari SF90 Stradale here in Malaysia at a RM 1.9 million price point (before duties, options, taxes and insurance).

The SF90 Stradale is the Ferrari‘s first series-production plug-in hybrid and derives its name from Scuderia Ferrari (SF) and the 90th anniversary of the company. It is Ferrari‘s most powerful ever production car at where its award-winning V8 turbocharged engine churns out 780PS while its three integrated electric motors generates another 220PS, offering a total of 1000PS.
There is a 7.9 kWh battery pack is a lithium-ion housed behind the seats that offers the SF90 a 25km all-electric operating range from using just the motors on the front axle and the all-electric operation is possible for up to a speed of 135 km/h.

The SF90 Stradale gets a completely redesigned eight-speed wet dual clutch gearbox which form the basis for the unit seen on the Roma and the Portofino M. This new gearbox is 10kg lighter than its predecessor, and carries and more compact in its assembly.
It offers four drive modes that one selects via the eManettino controller. The first of the four is the all-electric eDrive, followed by the default – Hybrid where the car decides whether to keep the internal combustion engine running or switched off. The third drive mode is Performance, which keeps the engine running while it prioritizes the charging of the battery and the last mode is Qualify, which provides maximum power output by allowing the electric motors to work at their maximum 162kW, prioritizing performance over battery charging.

The SF90 Stradale with its 1000PS powertrain does the 0-100km/h in 2.5 seconds, a 0-200km/h in 6.7 seconds and comes with a 340 km/h top speed.
It also comes with a new braking system, which features a front brake caliper designed in conjunction with Brembo to improve cooling performance as well as brake-by-wire control.

The SF90 measures in at 4,710 mm long, 1,972 mm wide and 1,186 mm tall and feature a more compact overhangs while the lower frontward-shift cabin creates a distinctive cab-forward-type architecture.
In the front, the SF90 features a totally new narrow aperture matrix LED headlights, integrated with the brake air intakes. At the rear, you’ll find a totally new look which feature squarish tail lights and a pair of suspended wings on the rear end of the engine cover.

For the interior, the new prancing horse features a new 16-inch curved high-definition digital instrument cluster, which was touted as a world’s first in a series-production vehicle which can be fully configured and controlled by the steering wheel control buttons.

The new steering wheel now includes a touch-pad and a host of haptic control buttons and to keep the drivers eye as much as possible on the road, the car is equipped with a new navigation system and a head-up display.
Other feature of the car include a lighter redesigned sports seats and a grille-styled gear selector, which pays homage to the brand’s manual gear-shift gates of old.

The orders for the SF90 Stradale is now opened but buyers can expect deliveries to only take place in 2021 or even into 2022 due to the Covid19 pandemic.
