Favorite Thai Snack in Kuala Lumpur

One of my favorite Thai snacks whenever I travel in Thailand are their cakoi that are served with their lovely pandan kaya dip but since our borders have been locked down, I am not able to enjoy this snacks until I came across this stall in Jinjang in Kuala Lumpur recently.

Cakoi Pandan Hatyai operate from the late morning to evening (or when they sold out). When I was there recently, they were just making a new batch of this freshly fried cakoi and it was really amazing.

The taste of the cakoi and its dip reminded me of me time in the Land of Smiles and its pricing was not too bad either – 20pcs of cakoi with 2 pandan dip for RM 5 or 10pcs of cakoi with 1 pandan dip for RM 3, truly affordable. The cakoi is crunchy on the outside, doughy in the inside and the aromatic pandan sauce is not too sweet ~ a true match made in heaven.

So if you are missing these Thai Cakoi with Pandan Dip, do head out to Cakoi Pandan Hatyai in Jinjang, but dont go too late ya ..
