Isetan has shut its doors for good at close of business on Monday, August 31, 2020 after 28 years in Bangkok as one of the most popular Japanese department stores.
“Time to say goodbye,” the store wrote on its Facebook account on Saturday, and the post drew a lot of well-wishes .

“I have been there since the first day I opened.. I am impressed with the great service always … I hope to be back open again #MissISETAN,” a fan named Manita Chomsai commented while Narachalux Ueokeeratikan wrote “I will miss Isetan. May everyone be happy”.
It is unsure if customers will have the chance to continue their acquaintance with the Japanese store as Mitsukoshi Group has not said whether it will reopen at a new location after ending its relationship with CentralWorld shopping center on Monday after its tenancy expired.
Those that came for the closing ceremony on August 31 walked away with a complimentary bread.

So, will we ever see Isetan back in Thailand again? Leave your comments here.
